Hosted at the Army Navy Country Club in Fairfax by DPVA Chairwoman Susan Swecker and 11th Congressional District Chair Bob Haley, this year’s intimate dinner welcomed special guests Attorney General Mark Herring and James Carville.
Virginia PrideFest was celebrated across the Commonwealth this weekend.

The Governor’s Race and First Lady’s Kids Run in Downtown Richmond
All proceeds were donated to FeedMore’s food bank and backpack program, Friends of James River Park, and Keep Virginia Beautiful.
DPVA’s Mission First Inaugural Event
Veterans and community members came together for the inaugural event of DPVA’s Mission First at Strangeways Brewing in Richmond. An amazing lineup of speakers included: RD Huffstetler; Abigail Spanberger; Congressman Seth Moulton (MA-06), Marine Veteran; Congressman Jim Himes (CT-04), Member of House Intelligence; and the City of Richmond’s Mayor Levar Stoney. Mission First is a first of its kind group that is specifically focused on organizing and mobilizing Veterans and Military Families on behalf of Democratic candidates in Virginia.
